About

Hello!

Welcome to the blog of the Bangor Craft Society. Established in 2014, we soon found our niche in the sometimes overwhelming number of societies at university, and became a haven for those who love all types of crafts, allowing likeminded people to get together and have fun.

From dressmaking to knitting, crochet to cross stitch and painting to pottery, we have members who are interested in all kinds of activities. Weekly workshops are held in Teaching Room 1 of the Wheldon Building, which give those who are confident at certain crafts the chance to teach others and develop their skills, whilst those new to the activity are allowed to learn in a friendly, sociable environment.
